A rather tedious film that tries hard to be a charmer but instead is too long. Gas station attendant McCrea falls for and weds a rich society girl who one day pulls in for service on her car. Leaving his sweetheart Rogers behind, he drives off with the rich dame to the big city. Through the scheming of the deb's mother, the marriage runs out of gas, sending McCrea back to his faithful puppy of a girl friend.
