Bright Lights Reviews

If it's happiness you're after, writer Pearson doesn't recommend marriage. Actress Mackaill gives up her stage career for the respectability of joint accounts, shared automobiles, dirty dishes, laundry, and raising children. But married bliss is practically nonexistent. The script misses the mark, saddling performers with trite lines and phrases. Early color feature. Songs include "Nobody Cares If I'm Blue," "I'm Crazy for Cannibal Love," "Chinatown," "Song of the Congo," "You're an Eyeful of Heaven."
