Born Reckless Reviews

A third-rate Marilyn Monroe clone, Van Doren, plays a rodeo star in love with aging rider Richards, who couldn't care less. The musical numbers aren't bad, but throughout her career Van Doren displayed a stunning lack of talent. Songs include "Song of the Rodeo" (Buddy Bregman, Stanley Styne), "Born Reckless," "A Little Longer," "Home Type Girl," "Separate the Men from the Boys," (Bregman), "Something to Dream About" (Charles Singleton, Larry Coleman), and "You, Lovable You" (Johnny Olenn).
