Hopalong Cassidy (William Boyd) and pals come to the aid of a mining community that's plagued by outlaws. Russell Hayden, Andy Clyde, Victor Jory, Frances Gifford, Morris Ankrum.

An outlaw-plagued mining town sends for Boyd and his pals Hayden and Clyde to curb attacks which their own vigilante committee has been unable to do anything about. Boyd and company soon get to the bottom of things, discovering that the desperadoes are led by the town honcho, who incidentally also heads the vigilantes. More gunfire than usual, but otherwise nothing notable.
