Book of Numbers Reviews

Decent black exploitation film about criminal operations in a small southern town during the depression. St. Jacques and Thomas leave their jobs waiting tables in the city and try to establish a numbers racket in a small backwater town, running afoul of local white crime czar Greene. Shows the constraints of its low budget but manages to get its points across. Worth watching.
