Blindman Reviews

Anthony, a blind sharpshooter with a "seeing-eye horse" (it's supposed to be funny), is hired to deliver 50 mail-order brides to some lonely Texans. On the way he encounters the hyperactive Starr and other Mexican bandidos, who steal the women. With the help of his superintelligent horse, Anthony tracks them down and kills the Mexicans, but the ladies decide to remain south of the border as free and independent spirits. Unbelievably stupid "comic" spaghetti western that screams, gouges, yells, and shoots its jokes out. Anthony, one of the more unappealing lesser Italian stars, spends most of his time making a fool out of himself and then looking at the camera to let the audience know that he knows he's been very foolish. A complete waste of time, except for those who want to see Starr participate in one of the dumbest career moves in history. Let's hope that his role in this film wasn't a contributing factor in the breakup of the Beatles.
