Better then average Japanese sci-fi film dealing with the evil undersea society of Mu which has been sucking all the energy out of the center of the Earth and causing quakes on the surface to destroy the nonaquatic people. As usual, the world's only hope is with a batty ex-submarine commander whose supership "Atragon" can stop the terror. Atragon is able to sail on the land, sea, and air, but the skipper isn't interested in saving the Earth until his daughter is kidnaped by the Mu. Great special effects keep this one afloat.
