Adam at 6 A.M. Reviews

A miscast Michael Douglas plays a semantics professor who flees the the city when a relative dies in rural Missouri. Seeking a simpler life, he moves to the sticks, but soon finds life can be just as complicated in the country as in the city. A weak script is partially redeemed by some nice location shooting. Only rugged Joe Don Baker, foreman of a work crew, is convincing. This was the first film from Steve McQueen's Solar Productions in which McQueen did not star.
