A dare gone wrong puts Bart (Nancy Cartwright) in the hospital, where he lies about meeting Jesus. Lisa (Yeardley Smith) feels good after doing a kind act, so she makes a habit of it to keep her emotional high. An accident gets Homer (Dan Castellaneta) fired from the nuclear plant, but its unintended consequences makes Mr. Burns (Harry Shearer) regret his decision. Marge (Julie Kavner) tries to make more money selling Tubberware disguised as a drag queen, while Grampa (Dan Castellaneta) reminisces about being a model for toy soldiers. Moe (Hank Azaria) fears another heartbreak when a Russian mail-order bride shows up at his doorstep.
