A sampling of Sid Caesar's fabled sketch comedy (originally performed live on Saturday nights on NBC) features bits from "Your Show of Shows" (1950-54), as well as the Caesar shows that preceded and followed it: "Admiral Broadway Revue" (1949) and "Caesar's Hour" ('54-'57). Also: comments from Caesar and his one-time writers Mel Brooks, Larry Gelbart, Neil Simon and Woody Allen. The sketches feature Caesar as everything from an imperious German general to a silent-film star with a squeaky voice.
