Gloria Estefan narrates a portrait of pre-Castro Havana, which was known as "the Paris of Latin America." The documentary uses vintage clips and Havana-native interviews to recall how daily life moved in the Cuban capital---not from dawn to dusk but from dusk to dawn, with clubs and restaurants open into the wee hours. Also: Cuban food and music; tales of baseball, Hemingway and romance on the Paseo del Praedo. "The biggest concern for the people of Havana," says one native, "was having fun."
