ABC's Bachelor hit a home run in the ratings Wednesday, attracting a season-high 13.5 million viewers and beating Fox's coverage of the World Series among viewers 18-34. (What do you wanna bet Leeann's gonna take all the credit.) Still, the Marlins' extra-inning victory over the New York Yankees easily won the night in most categories, including total viewers (21 million) and adults 18-49. The WB's combo of Smallville and Angel, meanwhile, scored its best numbers of the season. Finally, the debut of Comedy Central's much-hyped new animated series Kid Notorious staggered out of the gate, losing half of its sizeable South Park lead in.
