Because Scandal apparently isn't over-the-top enough, Tony Goldwyn has decided to go full-camp, signing on to the Lifetime movie Outlaw Prophet.

'90s star: Where are they now?

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Goldwyn will star as Warren Jeffs, the leader of the fundamentalist Mormon polygamist sect who was placed on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted List after evading authorizes to avoid prosecution for sexual assault of minors. Jeffs managed to stay off the radar for over a year, but was arrested in 2006 and eventually convicted of two felony counts of sexual assault. Jeffs, 55 at the time, was sentenced to life in prison-plus-20 years and was fined $10,000 for the sexual assault of 12- and 15-year-old girls.

The Lifetime original film is based on the book When Men Become Gods by Stephen Singular.
