On Friday's episode of The Blacklist, "The Pawnbrokers," Raymond Reddington (James Spader) gets booked into federal prison while he awaits his gun possession hearing that will determine whether or not he violated the terms of his deal with the FBI. And since he's Red Reddington, the most connected man in crime, he runs into an old nemesis in the clink. In this exclusive sneak peek from Friday's episode, Red sits down with a bald gentleman named Baldomero to try to bury the hatchet about the resentment Baldomero is still carrying from whatever Red did to his mother back in the day.

TV Guide also has a first look at Red in his prison uniform, which is of course his own special version that the other inmates don't have. I wouldn't get too used to seeing him like this, but this is where he's at for now.

After the Season 6 premiere, creator Jon Bokenkamp told TV Guide that Red in prison will be unlike anything we've previously seen on The Blacklist. "Seeing him sort of stripped of his superpowers and put into prison is definitely a new dynamic and tests his abilities," Bokenkamp said. "It changes everything... It's going to be really fun to watch Reddington navigate the federal prison system."

Elsewhere in the episode, Samar (Mozhan Marno) goes undercover to stop the titular black market organization that fronts cash to crooks, while Liz (Megan Boone) and her half-sister Jennifer (Fiona Dourif) continue their investigation into Red's past.

The Blacklist airs Fridays at 9/8c on NBC.
