Someone's Got a New Wife on The Big Bang Theory

Familiar faces are popping up all over the place onThe Big Bang Theory's final season and that will continue in the back half of Season 12. Penny's (Kaley Cuoco) ex Zack (Brian Thomas Smith) will return when the series comes back in Janurary and he won't be alone.

Lindsay Kraft (Living Biblically) has been cast as Zack's new wife Marissa, according to TV Line. She will appear in multiple episodes beginning Thursday, Jan. 10. CBS reveals that the episode will find Zack and Marissa struggling to get pregnant and turning to Leonard (Johnny Galecki) for help. Um, awkward?

The arc comes in the middle of The Big Bang Theory's 12th and final season. The series has been crossing several things off the fan bucket list before it says goodbye, including a sentimental crossover with Young Sheldon. TV's No. 1 comedy still has a few questions left to answer though, like will Raj (Kunal Nayyar) ever find true and lasting love?

The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8/7c on CBS.
