Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) has finally emerged on Supernatural, but there's something off about his triumphant return. In a preview for Thursday's episode, Dean doesn't quite seem himself, which is setting off some major red alarms. Given how easily Michael vacated his body, something tells us Dean's troubles are only just beginning and that the villainous archangel will continue to wreak havoc on the Winchesters down the line.
Although Michael promises to be a formidable foe for our heroes this season, it doesn't look like he's the big bad, though, which begs the question: Which other evil force will Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Ackles) be up against?

Supernatural executive producer Eugenie Ross-Leming previously teased that Dean's return comes with a "twist," and we think it might have something to do with Michael's possession of him and the consequences of that. So -- now hear us out -- what if Dean Winchester is the villain of Season 14?
It wouldn't be the first time we've seen the eldest Winchester break bad. After all, he was previously resurrected as a demon and, after bearing the Mark of Cain, his body has been somewhat tainted by evil, likely making him more susceptible to the dark side.
What do you think? Is Dean evil? Or is Michael still in control of Dean's body and merely pretending to be the pie-loving hunter? Take our poll below and let us know how you feel!
Supernatural airs Thursdays at 8/7c on the CW.
