Snoop Dogg Claims Racial Profiling in Arrest for Drugs

The rapper was arrested in Sweden

Snoop Dizzle ain't returning to Swe-Dizzle following an arrest in which the rapper alleged racial profiling. Snoop Dogg, real name Calvin Broadus, was briefly detained on suspicion of drugs following a performance in Sweden on Saturday, The Guardian reports.

"Police carrying out roadside controls noticed that Snoop Dogg seemed to be under the influence of narcotics," Swedish police spokesperson Daniel Nilsson told the paper. "He was arrested and taken to the police station to take a urine test."

The entire incident lasted several minutes and after the test was administered, Snoop left, according to the spokesman. The results of the test were not immediately available.

Snoop, who is open about his use of marijuana, posted a video on Instagram from the police station addressing the incident, and said he would never return to Sweden.

Later, Snoop posted a second video after he left the police station and said nothing was found in the test. He also had some choice words for Sweden's police. [NSFW language]
