Sinead O'Connor Recovering After Admitted Suicide Attempt

The past month has been an emotional roller-coaster for Sinead O'Connor (as evidenced here and here), and the Irish singer apparently is reaching a breaking point— she recently confessed to The Sun that she had attempted suicide by overdosing on prescription pills.
"I took an overdose," she said. "God obviously wants me around — though I can't think why."

Then again on Wednesday, in an apparent cry for help, O'Connor tweeted, "Does any1 know a psychiatrist in Dublin or Wicklow who could urgently see me today please? I'm really un-well... and in danger..."She continued: "pls... can any psychiatrist see me today an get me back on meds an help me without me having to go hospital?"

It seems as though O'Connor in the process of recovering, per one of her more recent tweets thanking her fans. "I love u all so much for that and am feeling much better."
