Jerry Seinfeld will donate the proceeds from his Friday stand-up show in Nashville to aid flood victims.
"This is a tough time for a great city, and I'm very happy to donate the proceeds from this show to the local organizations that are bringing help where it's needed," Seinfeld said in an e-mail to The Associated Press.

The comedian, who will appear at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, will split the proceeds between the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee and American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.Seinfeld is just the latest celebrity to offer support in the wake of the devastating flood that has destroyed thousands of homes and claimed 22 lives in Tennessee.

Ke$ha, Taylor Swift donate to aid Nashville flood victims

Taylor Swift has donated $500,000 toward relief and will participate in the June 22 Nashville Rising benefit concert, to be hosted by Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus, Brooks & Dunn and Miranda Lambert are also on the lineup.
Nashville native Ke$ha has a benefit concert planned for June 16, while country music cable network GAC will air a telethon on May 16, featuring Brad Paisley, Lady Antebellum, Dierks Bentley, and other stars. A telethon held last week raised more than $1.7 million.
