David stars in the first installment of Seinfeld's latest endeavor, a web series called Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. And the title is not a red herring — in each 10- to 15-minute episode, Seinfeld picks up one of his comedian pals in a vintage car and heads to a diner or coffee shop. Hilarity ensues as the pair banters over eggs, coffee and, in David's case, pancakes.
Another guest on the series? Ricky Gervais, who reveals a surprisingly intense fear of speed.

It's something of a crying shame that the new comedy getting the most attention tonight (buzz-wise, though certainly not critically), and which almost certainly will attract the widest audience (of morbidly curious rubber-neckers, but who's counting) is by far the least worthy of attention or respect.
