Marvel's Runaways Season 3 Trailer Previews the Anticipated Cloak & Dagger Crossover

If you thought Karolina (Virginia Gardner) and Chase (Gregg Sulkin) were in danger after the Season 2 cliffhanger of Marvel's Runaways, you ain't seen nothing yet. The Season 3 trailer that dropped on Friday has us seriously worried about Nico (Lyrica Okano), of all people.

The darkest of all of Jonah's (Julian McMahon) body-snatching family members is on the loose in Season 3, and it seems pretty likely that he's inhabiting Nico's body. Compounded with the often uncontrollable darkness Nico has to battle when it comes to her magic, this possession seems like a recipe for disaster. And that shot of her pulling her staff out of her own chest? Yikes.

Luckily, Marvel's Runaways is getting a visit this year from two people who know a little something about balancing light and dark. The trailer ends with the arrival of Tyrone (Aubrey Joseph) and Tandy (Olivia Holt) from Marvel's Cloak & Dagger, officially launching the crossover that we've all been waiting for. And yeah, Tyrone and Tandy don't seem too thrilled to meet Nico -- "What the hell have you done?" isn't exactly the best way to introduce yourself -- but we have faith that they'll all end up friends in the end!
