While most Marvel TV shows exist vaguely within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, two shows that undoubtedly do not are Marvel's Runaways and Marvel's Cloak & Dagger. They do, however, exist in the same "real world" universe, being set in Los Angeles and New Orleans, respectively, and you know what that means? It's time for a crossover!

Marvel announced Thursday the two teen superhero shows would cross over this fall when Marvel's Runaways enters its third season. "It's so fun being able to do something that revels in the Mighty Marvel Manner! Having these young heroes crossover allows fans of both shows to see the adventure everyone has been waiting for and we've only hinted at," said Jeph Loeb, executive producer and the head of Marvel Television.

Loeb isn't kidding when he says he's hinted at this crossover before. The teams behind both shows have mentioned potential crossovers more than once. Now it's finally happening, and we won't even have to wait that long to see it! Marvel's Runaways Season 3 will hit Hulu this December, and we already know that Tyrone (Aubrey Joseph) and Tandy (Olivia Holt) of Cloak & Dagger ended their most recent season on a bus leaving New Orleans in the hopes of helping people around the country. Heaven knows the Runaways will need that help: The last time we saw them, Karolina (Virginia Gardner), Chase (Gregg Sulkin), and Gert (Ariela Barer) were in danger after being captured by their parents.

It sounds like the rest of the Runaways might be getting some superpowered help to rescue their missing friends thanks to a couple of new ones when Season 3 returns!

Marvel's Runaways premieres Friday, Dec. 13 on Hulu. Marvel's Cloak & Dagger has not yet been renewed for Season 3.
