Previously undefeated fighter Ronda Rousey will get a chance to redeem herself after her stunning loss to Holly Holm in November. There will be a rematch, according to Ultimate Fighter Championship president Dana White.
Appearing on the Mike & Mike radio show, White didn't have a definitive date for their second fight, but said it's most certainly happening.
"I think that if we didn't make the rematch, me and [UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta] should probably lose our promoters' license," White said. "Yeah, that fight's going to happen. I don't know when, but that's the fight that will happen."
He said that, given Ronda's record, her impact on the sport and her ability to beat the best female fighters in the world in seconds, she deserves a rematch. Holm is on board too, he said. "Holly agrees she deserves a rematch. And we'll figure it out."
Ding! We are so in. Are you excited about seeing these two champions face off again?
