Oprah Winfrey made her first appearance on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show, but this isn't the first time the duo has worked together.
"Back in the '80s, we starred in a TV show together," Fallon explained. But the director of the soap opera Midnight Memories apparently had a proficiency for vocal distortion. "He would change our voices during the scenes. I guess he thought it made things more dramatic, but I'm not sure if it helped or hurt the show."
Fallon and Winfrey then ran through three different "clips" of the soap opera, displaying a wide variety of vocal effects, including higher pitch, lower pitch and Auto-Tune.
