Aretha Franklin is celebrating her 62nd birthday in the comfort of her own home today after being released from a Detroit hospital Wednesday. The Queen of Soul was admitted over the weekend for "superficial capillary bleeding" caused by an allergic reaction to antibiotics. In a statement, Franklin thanked "friends, fans and supporters" for all their support. "I'm taking it real easy," she added. "I have special dishes that will be cooked and prepared for me." Must be nice.
