Mark your calendars -- beloved British reality series Love Island will invade the U.S. this July. CBS revealed Wednesday that the American adaptation of the popular show will premiere Tuesday, July 9 and air five nights a week through Wednesday, Aug. 7.

"As the buzziest reality show in the U.K., Love Island has won the hearts of viewers across the pond as well as around the world, creating appointment viewing and fanfare for audiences everywhere. We are thrilled to bring our version of this cultural phenomenon to CBS," Sharon Vuong, Senior Vice President of Alternative Programming for CBS, said in a statement. "This fun, light-hearted series is like watching your favorite romantic comedy five nights a week!"

The series brings together a group of single "Islanders" for a summer of love and friendship in a gorgeous villa in Fiji. Participants must find a partner every few days, and those who fail to do so run the risk of being cast out from the island. The heat is on, as couples must win over not only each other but viewers, who will help decide which pair will take home the cash prize.

CBS is delivering a double dose of reality programming this summer, with Big Brother set to premiere on Tuesday, June 25 at 8/7c. The series, which typically airs Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, will move its weekday episodes to the 9/8c slot beginning Wednesday, July 10 in order to make room for Love Island.

Love Island premieres Tuesday, July 9 at 8/7c on CBS.
