Get ready for a whole new set of houseguests
Forget Game of Thrones -- this summer is when the real subterfuge and game playing begins. Big Brother is set to return to CBS for its 21st season in June.
The network announced on Monday that Big Brother Season 21 will launch with a two-night premiere event on Tuesday, June 25 and Wednesday, June 26 at 8/7c. The show will then continue its format of airing three episodes a week. Episodes on Sunday evenings will air at 8/7c, and starting Wednesday, July 10, the series' weekday episodes will move to Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9/8c.
Julie Chen Moonves will also be back to host the new season.
For the somehow uninitiated, Big Brother centers on a group of strangers who move into a house full of hidden (and some not-so-hidden) cameras and have to navigate their way through alliances, back-stabbing incidents, game challenges, and other twists in the hopes of being the last one living in the house. The winner scores a grand prize of $500,000. The reality series first launched in 2000.
Big Brother 21 premieres Tuesday, June 25 at 8/7 on CBS.
