Report: Julianne Hough Will Be a Judge on Dancing with the Stars

Julianne Hough is eyeing a return to the Dancing with the Stars ballroom. Hough, who was a professional dancer on Dancing on Seasons 4 through 8, is returning to the show as a judge, TMZ reports.

Julianne Hough is eyeing a return to the Dancing with the Stars ballroom.

Hough, who was a professional dancer on Dancing on Seasons 4 through 8, is returning to the show as a judge, TMZ reports. Emails to ABC were not immediately returned.

After stints as a guest judge the past two seasons, Hough will be a permanent fourth member of the panel in Season 19, according to TMZ. She'll join Carrie Ann InabaBruno Tonioli and Len Goodman at the table. Goodman said on the Season 18 finale that he had been planning to leave, but has not made an official announcement.

Hough, a two-time champ, exited Dancing after Season 8 to pursue a career as a professional singer and actress. She's starred in Rock of Ages and Footloose.

Her brother Derek is a five-time-winning pro on the show and will return next season, along with Cheryl BurkeValentin ChmerkovskiyKarina SmirnoffMark BallasTony DovolaniEmma SlaterPeta Murgatroyd and Witney Carson. Joining them are new pros Artem Chigvintsev, the winner of the U.K. edition ofDancing; choreographer Allison Holker; and South African dancer Keoikantse Motsepe.
