Mya received stitches for a deep cut in her hand Sunday night, reports People — but she'll still appear on the ninth season premiere of Dancing with the Stars (Monday, 8/7c, ABC) with pro partner Dmitri Chaplin.

Age is just a number for 62-year-old Tom DeLay and he says he's not going to let the 41-year age difference between him and snowboarder Louie Vito, the season's youngest Dancing with the Stars cast member, be a disadvantage. Tom DeLay may be down, but he's definitely not out: The Dancing with the Stars contestant suffered a pre-stress fracture in his right foot but says he is doing everything he can to keep on dancing.

"I'm very cognizant that if it breaks I may have to leave the show, so I am trying to follow the doctor's orders. His orders were relative rest," DeLay tells TVGuide.com. "Let me put it this way: I'm going to dance until the foot breaks."

While the rest of the world was buzzing about Tom DeLay's casting on Dancing with the Stars, Cheryl Burke was busy doing her homework on the former House Majority leader.
