And the weirdest Twitter feud is... Aimee Mann vs. Ice-T.

Things got nasty last week during a bizarre brawl on Twitter between the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and the rapper-actor, who has co-starred in NBC's Law & Order: Special Victims Unit since 1999.

Mann, perhaps best known for her contributions to the Magnoliasoundtrack and the oft-played MTV video of the 1985 'Til Tuesday song "Voices Carry," started things Thursday when she tweeted: "Christ, there is no reason in the world anyone should ever have cast Ice T in a television show."

Ice-T had some choice words in reply: "Hey @aimeemann stop worrying bout my acting b---h, and worry about your WACK a-- music. In the mean time ... Eat a hot bowl of D---ks!"

Joy Behar to Glenn Beck: "I don't give a flying f--- about you"

Mann later apologized after Ice-T got his Final Level Twitter Gang (FLTG) involved.  "He doesn't need any heckling from the peanut gallery. So, I am sorry, Mr. T! You get out there and DO IT!" Mann tweeted.

The rapper, whose 1991 O.G. Original Gangster album is regarded as one of the albums that defined gangsta rap, retweeted Mann's apology and called off the dogs.

"OK. Homegirl apologized ... Say no more. FLTG Cease fire! "Once again there's Peace in Twitterland," he tweeted.

Glenn Beck mocks James Cameron: "It's time to walk away from the CGI"

Earlier today, he tweeted that reports of the fight were much belated ado about nothing. "Wow ... People are so late.. Still talkin' bout that old s--t. This is a prime example of how they take small s[t]uff and spin it into real drama."

Gosh. Much as we love a good feud, we think Ice and Aimee are both fantastic.

What do you think of the Twitter squabble?
