Abigail Spencer Is Out for Revenge in Hulu's Reprisal Trailer

Underestimating Abigail Spencer is a grave mistake. The first trailer for Hulu'sReprisal is here, and it shows Spencer playing a woman on a revenge mission like no other. The Timeless alum stars in the noir drama as Doris Dearie, aka Katherine Harlow, a woman who seeks revenge against her brother's gearhead gang after they drag her through a field and leave her for dead.

As the trailer shows, Spencer's character survives the assault and assembles her own crew to exact revenge against the renegades -- called the Banished Brothers -- who caused her so much pain.

"They were that convinced I wouldn't be a threat to them," she explains of her vengeance plot to "tie up some loose ends." Judging by the shots of brawls and gunfights and houses ablaze, this family feud won't be a clean one, but she might just be right when she declares that "being underestimated is the greatest advantage you can have over other people."

The series also stars Rodrigo Santoro, Mena Massoud, Madison Davenport, Rhys Wakefield, David Dastmalchian, W. Earl Brown, and Gilbert Owuor.

Reprisal premieres Friday, Dec. 6 on Hulu.
