Those who mourn the tragic and too-soon death of Heath Ledger will soon be granted a small piece of closure, when the official autopsy report presumably confirming the heretofore unknown cause of death is revealed.
The initial autopsy, performed immediately after the actor's passing, proved inconclusive. Although no illegal drugs were found in the actor's apartment, he was in possession of six prescription medications, including pills to treat insomnia and anxiety, and an antihistamine.
A spokesperson for the New York Chief Medical Examiner's Office tells TVGuide.com that the latest findings will be disclosed either later today, or Wednesday at the latest.
