The aimless sixth season of Showtime's pot-com has sent the Botwin clan on the lam. This week, they stopped in Nancy's hometown, Dearborn, Mich., because they thought the large Arab population would buy their hash and help them get false passports, which Andy (Justin Kirk) tried to obtain during a worship service at a mosque. Racist? Sure! "It's also racist to assume all Asians are bad drivers, but they are," Nancy (Mary-Louise Parker) "joked." Who's writing this show — Juan Williams?

Even more distastefully, Nancy sought shelter at the home of her high-school math teacher, Mr. Schiff (Richard Dreyfuss, the only cast member more irritating than Parker in the lame new movie RED), who took her virginity before trying to take his own life. Hilarity! He's like the pervy version of Mr. Holland crossed with Bill Murray's mental patient from Dreyfuss' What About Bob? — minus the laughs.

Now, here's the really bad news: Weeds has already been picked up for a seventh season. My advice to viewers? Just say no!

Do you think Weeds needs to be plucked?
