Bret Michaels: I suffered a brain hemorrhage while watching "Skinemax"

Just one day after the Celebrity Apprenticefinalist made his return to television on The Oprah Winfrey Show, , his website revealed that Michaels was readmitted to the hospital with what his doctors call a "warning stroke." Scans showed that the rocker also has a hole in his heart.

"The good news is that it is operable and treatable and we think we may have diagnosed the problem that caused the ... warning stroke; however we feel it is highly unlikely this is connected to the brain hemorrhage he suffered just a few weeks earlier," said Dr. Joseph Zabramski, Michaels' neurosurgeon. "Once again it is great that he quickly reacted to the severe numbness and got to the hospital immediately."

Bret Michaels to appear on Oprah; plans May 28 return to the stage

The Poison frontman, who suffered a brain hemorrhage last month, already was planning to return to the stage May 28. Details on what will happen with his plans to return to tour, and whether he'll appear on the Celebrity Apprentice live finale Sunday, were not released. Further tests will be conducted this week, with Bret receiving outpatient care.

"Bret wants everyone to know he cannot thank you enough for all of the well wishes, prayers, and good vibes you have sent his way," Janna Elias, Michaels' rep, said on the website. "He is up, walking, talking, continuing his daily rehab and very happy to be alive, but he has made it clear he is sick and tired of being in the hospital and is ready to rock again."
