Bret Michaels wants nothin' but a good explanation for the Tony Awards mishap that left him bruised and bleeding.
Michaels suffered a broken nose and a cut lip when he was clocked by a descending set piece after Poison's performance of "Nothin' But a Good Time" with the Rock of Ages cast at Sunday's ceremony. Though he's "trying to remain very positive and somewhat humorous," Michaels wrote in a lengthy statement on his website, he is troubled by Tony organizers' take of the situation and their lack of concern.
"I need to make clear at no point since the incident occurred do I feel like the accident was malicious in any way and I feel this will all work itself out. However I must state I found ...

Bret Michaels' run-in with some scenery at the Tony Awards fractured his nose and required stitches in his lip, but the rocker was able to laugh it off.
"He told me, 'All I remember is Shrek and the donkey helping me up, and Liza [Minnelli] giving me a towel,'" Michaels' rep, Joann Mignano, told People. "And Bret was laughing when he heard [host] Neil Patrick Harris said he gave new meaning to 'headbanging.'"

Michaels had X-Rays taken and underwent a CAT scan Monday to be on the safe side, Mignano said. "His neck ...

The first two Rock of Love ladies weren't a match for Bret Michaels, but the rock star is about to give love (or lust) another whirl as he chooses between Mindy and Taya on the season finale of Rock of Love Bus (Sunday, 9 pm/ET, MTV). The Poison front man explained why he decided to put his dating life on display, why he thinks his show is different than other dating series, and how it's going with the woman who won his heart this season.
TVGuide.com: Why did you decide to do Rock of Love when it started?
Bret Michaels: When they first asked me to do the show, I was reluctant. So I sort of passed and said do this Rock of Love concept, but it's not for me. I had just come out of this relationship, have two daughters and like my privacy. I'm not a recluse, but I like time with my kids. Three months later, VH1 came back and said you're the one we want to do it. You throw a good party, you can hold half a conversation and still got a few brain cells left [Laughs].
TVGuide.com: With two young daughters, do you have reservations about doing such a risqué show?
Michaels: The one thing I can say is ...

The Bachelor's fellow reality dating star, Bret Michaels, has a few words of advice for the most-hated man in America.
"He definitely better hide his car because it's about to get keyed," said the Rock of Love star.
Just as Jason Mesnick dumped Melissa Rycroft after the Bachelor finale, Michaels was dumped in the first ROL season by Jess, the woman who had won his heart. She told him he made a mistake and they weren't right for each other.
And while burns suffered in front of the camera sting the worst, they're usually for the best, the Poison front-man believes.
"In a sick way, I think he ...
