We officially have a premiere date for the Breaking Badmovie!

The film, titled El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, will debut on on Netflix on Oct. 11, the streaming service announced Saturday. The movie, written and directed by Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan, is also expected to air on AMC at a later date.

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie will focus on Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) following his escape from the Aryan Brotherhood at the end of the Emmy-winning AMC series. That escape resulted in his one-time partner, Walter White (Bryan Cranston), sacrificing himself to save Jesse in the Breaking Bad series finale. In the new film, Jesse must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future.

"It's a chapter of Breaking Bad that I didn't realize that I wanted," Paul told the New York Times, which first reported the premiere date. "And now that I have it, I'm so happy that it's there... All I can say, I think people will be really happy with what they see."

The teaser trailer also depicts an interrogation scene with Skinny Pete (Charles Baker), who claims to have no idea where Jesse has gone. And he isn't about to have any part in putting his friend back in a cage.

As details go, all of this is still pretty vague, but for Breaking Bad fans who are dying for another chapter, this is practically a feast given that Netflix has also released the key art (below).
