Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are donating  $2 million to a wildlife sanctuary in Namibia.

The donation was made to the Naankuse Lodge and Wildlife Sanctuary through the Jolie-Pitt foundation in the name of the couple's daughter, Shiloh, who was born in Namibia. "We want her to be very involved and grow up with the understanding of her country of birth," Jolie said in a statement.

The couple stayed at the lodge with their family during Christmas vacation. While there, their children helped to feed and care for orphaned baby baboons and foxes and saw a leopard released back into the wild, according to The Associated Press.

The money will be used primarily to help the community of bushmen receive medical care, including treatment of malnutrition, tuberculosis and HIV, the AP reported. The remainder of the money will be used for as-yet-undetermined animal conservation projects.
