Zero Hour Reviews

Insipid, poorly filmed story about a young girl (Inescort) who, nurtured by producer Kruger, has become a Broadway star. Now they want to marry, so they head off to the country to find a justice of the peace. The car runs out of gas and while flagging down help Kruger is hit by another vehicle. He's paralyzed but Inescort marries him anyway. Nine years later, Inescort wants to adopt a child. Douglas, a widower, has a previous claim to the child she wants, and while visiting the child, the two meet and soon begin an affair. Kruger, observing this turn of events, commits suicide, feeling that he is in the way of his wife's happiness. Unusually morbid tearjerker.
