Five members of the Royal Air Force, headed by Shiner, are billeted in a family home during WW II. Gregg is the sour landlady, who doesn't get along with her new guests. In on the antics are Gregg's henpecked spouse, nasty stepson, and beautiful daughter. Dors, as the maid, provides a bit of spice. Some mild amusement is to be found here, particularly in the dialog, though all in all this is nothing special. British filmgoers thought otherwise, though, making both the film and Shiner big successes.
