Herschell Gordon Lewis, who would go on to become Hollywood's leading gore master with films such as BLOOD FEAST and TWO THOUSAND MANIACS, made his directorial debut with this inane drama. Seventeen-year-old Le Compte leaves her home and is abducted by a freakish beatnik painter who ties her up and forces her to pose naked. Karen Black made her film debut with this movie, clearly one she'd like to forget.
