The Man with the Golden Gun Reviews

In his second turn as James Bond, Moore searches for both a powerful solar energy device and Lee, the world's highest paid hit man, who has served notice that Moore will be his next victim. After traveling to Hong Kong, Moore learns that the device is being guarded by Lee on a small island. Ekland plays the local British intelligence operative who comes to Moore's assistance on several fronts, while Adams is Lee's disenchanted girl friend. Screenwriters Maibaum and Mankiewicz attempted to downplay the gadgetry this time around, but their attempts at adding more humor hinder plot development. The film's pace lags until the climactic finale.
