The Cosmic Man Reviews

Interesting low budget science-fiction film inspired by THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL and the general fear of nuclear war in the 1950s. John Carradine arrives from space in a large sphere. He has black skin and casts a white shadow (the film's only special effect) and brings a message of peace and nuclear sanity. Almost everyone on Earth is suspicious and hostile, even after he heals a crippled boy. This could have been a classic with a larger budget and more thought but is an intriguing failure as is.
