A young Nebraskan woman arrives in the big city with her grandfather's $1,000 inheritance money and seeks to fulfill his terms – to buy a retired race horse with a connection to her grandfather. She enlists the help of two racing gamblers who try to swindle her to pay off their debts.

Somewhat amusing programmer finds waitress Wilson receiving $1,000 from her grandfather. She wants to buy a horse with it and gives the cash to racing tout Jenkins. He promptly loses the cash but gives her a ticket for the Irish Sweepstakes and sells her an old nag. Both turn out winners, for the horse regains its old form and her ticket pays off big. The direction is standard for minor B work but the acting is not bad, giving the script some credibility.
