An expedition to the Greek Isles in search of treasure turns up just two ancient dinosaur eggs. One cracks open, unleashing a deadly, but invisible, brontosaurus-like monster that can only be detected by the noise it makes when it moves. Expedition member Fernandez is killed by the creature, as are several others in the group. Philbrook succeeds only in maiming it, after which an assistant sacrifices his life by setting himself and the monster on fire.
