An interesting and almost daring comical story line is ruined by unintelligent writing and directing. Tufts is an insurance salesman who is so paranoid about atomic war that he moves his family into a cave. Every opportunity for satire and social comment is missed; instead, the viewer is subjected to lame slapstick and predictable situations.
