A group of beneficiaries visit an old, mysterious house in order to collect an inheritance, where a series of strange events take place.

There's danger afoot as people are being killed because someone's trying to get rid of the beneficiary to a will. Purcell is the detective investigating the proceedings, and Parrish the girl in trouble. Poorly directed, the film drags on until the happy ending, which is no surprise. A remake of a 1932 Ginger Rogers film.
