Mask of the Dragon Reviews

A poor attempt at combining comedy and mystery against the story of a GI returning from the Korean conflict, this film has little to say. After the vet is found stabbed in the back, his civilian buddy, Travis, along with female interest Ryan, tracks down the murderer. There are dealings with an Asian curio shop owner, a mysterious jade dragon, some TV-studio intrigue, and a walk through Chinatown, all hashed up in the same standard form, with an ineffectual Travis leading the way. The weak script doesn't help much, giving the actors little to do other than spout uninspired lines. The other production values are adequate, though restricted by the film's low budget.
