A failed attempt to portray the psychology of a maniacal killer. Best prowls around Powers, a married mother of two who owns a garage catering to sports cars. Best sets his twisted mind on her and won't give up until he gets her. The last girl he wanted who resisted him was violently killed. He tries to kill Powers' husband and eventually takes her children as hostages. His plan is to trick Powers into coming to him, but instead the cops come along and the mad killer is shot to death.
