Letter of Introduction Reviews

Menjou is a Hollywood actor who finds his daughter (Leeds) from one of his early marriages showing up at his doorstep. The matinee idol hasn't seen his daughter since she was a baby. Leeds wants to be an actress and wants daddy's help. Her boy friend Murphy becomes very jealous because Menjou, out of vanity, doesn't want to admit that Leeds is his daughter. To save their relationship Murphy is told; the only other one who knows of Leeds' true identity is Menjou's butler. The film ends sadly when Menjou drunkenly steps in front of a car and is killed.
