Low-budget comedy chronicling the efforts of conniving salesman Alexander to market inventor Graetz's new product, a water-based gasoline. Alexander needs cash fast so that the inventor can complete his research, so he concocts a phony stock promotion and announces that Graetz has already perfected his product. Of course the money pours in from excited investors, and Alexander sets up a fake corporation with a dummy board of directors. It looks like the scheme will work until the inventor is kidnaped, leaving Alexander to solve the crime or face financial ruin and prison.
